The path out of the yard can shape the job as much as the playset itself.
What to record
Start at the playset and walk the route to the street. Record the narrowest opening, steps, grade, and any surfaces that need protection. Show all platforms, roofing, slides, and posts in your photos.
Access and scope
If posts appear set in concrete, say so. Surface removal and footing removal are different scopes. Ask what will remain at ground level and how the area will be left.
Quick checklist
- Photograph all sides and connected parts.
- Measure the narrowest opening on the way out.
- Note buried supports and any suspected utility connection.
- Decide what should remain and what should be hauled away.
