A short inventory prevents surprises when a swing frame is ready to come down.
What to record
Take a wide photo from each side. Count the swings, crossbeams, ladders, and braces. Look at every post where it meets the ground: some frames sit on surface anchors; others have buried footings. Do not pull or cut a post before you know what supports it.
Access and scope
Measure the narrowest gate and photograph the route from the frame to the loading area. If branches, raised beds, or a slope affect the path, mention them when requesting a quote.
Quick checklist
- Photograph all sides and connected parts.
- Measure the narrowest opening on the way out.
- Note buried supports and any suspected utility connection.
- Decide what should remain and what should be hauled away.
